• Discovering new knowledge about canine and
  feline products and processes, and then applying
  that knowledge to create new and improved
  products that fill market needs and meet consumer
  demand.

• Be continually innovative and research into the
  use of different ingredients and combinations of
  ingredients to create the highest quality pet
  food.
• For animals with varying nutritional needs, of
  varying ages, with differing physical and health
  requirements.

• Ensuring products are not harmful and safe for
  consumption
• Meet government health and safety guidelines and
  legal requirements
• Use highest quality ingredients
• Use sample groups of pets and pet owners for
  product testing
