2Purpose
- To provide the consumer (the lost and their
families) with a better unified search force - To increase communication between the
Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Council and the
Pennsylvania Wing Civil Air Patrol
3Objectives
- Provide for a mechanism that both organization
can provide notification information for active
searches - Allow both organizations to communicate their
currently available resources at the time of
alert - Provide for time to do initial pre-planning
should an escalation of the event should occur
making additional resources available - Provide both organizations with an orientation to
each others assets, notification, and alerting
procedures and protocols

- Notification
- The act of making known the act of giving
official notice or information to the public or
to individuals, corporations, companies, or
societies, by words, by writing, or by other
means. - Sharing information between PSAR members and PAWG
CAP as to missions that are occurring and the
chance of employing one anothers resources. - Alerting
- Alarming from a real or threatened danger
- The official request for employment of resources.
