Statement of Work
  • Provide diagnostic expertise in the pathology of
    prostate cancer bone metastases and prostate
    pathology pertaining to all samples and
    experiments.
  • Histology Process fresh or frozen tissue,
    routine staining such hematoxylin and eosin or
    specialized such as TRAP.
  • Immunohistochemistry

  • In Situ Hybridization
  • Laser Capture Microdissection
  • Histomorphometry and photography
  • cDNA microarray for the expression profiling
    analysis on experimental cell systems and
    microdissected cellular material. This component
    of the core operates at the Fred Hutchinson
    Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington,
    under the directorship of Dr. Peter Nelson
