  • Welcome to your class Perspective in art
    Presentation.
  • You are going to add your perspective selections
    to
  • this presentation, document them and save them to
    your SOTA account and then to Mr. Montgomery's
    key drive. I will then put them all together on
    my laptop and we will take turns presenting and
    sharing our Perspective Webquest.
  • Heres what you want to do now.
  • First read directions completely.
  • You will want to insert a slide for each of
    your painting
  • images that you have saved. You can do this by
    going to the
  • Insert column on the tool bar. Select Insert,
    New Slide
  • A dialogue box will appear giving you a choice of
    different
  • types of slides. Select the title type slide.
    This will
  • automatically give you a slide with two type
    boxes that you
  • can type or copy in your titles and relevant
    information.

Then hit ok

You can format your type from the tool bar Format
column. You can change font size, color, etc.
You can also click on the outside of the text box
and drag to move it or select a corner and drag
to change its size.

  • Next you want to return to the insert column
    and go to insert, picture, from file. Another
    dialogue box will come up that allows you to
    select your image and place it in the slide that
    you are currently in. Select your image and open
    it.

  • When your image appears in your window it will
    have a bounding box around it that can be
    selected and dragged to change the size. Be sure
    and hold the shift key down to maintain the
    proportions of your image. You can also double
    click on your image for other formatting options.

    dialogue box will appear. Copy or type your URL
    address into the link box and hit ok. Your
    image is now linked to the museum website where
    you found it from. Anyone looking at the
    presentation that wants to know more about the
    artwork and artist can click on the slide and
    will be directed to the website. Uber cool in

Lastly you might want to change the formatting of
your slide background. Go to format, slide
background. Again, a dialogue box will appear
giving you options for background colors for your
slides. Remember you can always change the font
color as well to go with your background
selection for maximum readability.
  • Repeat these steps for all of your slides. When
    you are finished we will save them to the key
    drive.
  • NOTE- do not close the PowerPoint window without
    saving. It will lose all of your work. If you
    need to save it prior to the final save to key
    drive, save the file to your 815 folder.
