• Diagnosis Achilles Tendonitis with
  Intrasubstance Tear.
• History None
• Findings Patient with heel pain extended field
  of view image of the Achilles tendon. The tendon
  (T) is enlarged and inhomogeneous, containing a
  longitudinal split (arrows). There is a spur (S)
  at the tendon insertion. A longitudinal split
  (arrows) is present with a Intrasubtance
  calcification present (). Calccalcaneous.
• Treatment Conservative treatment (boot).
