Under-Utilized Forest Resources

• Lower grade hardwood pulp (ash, some oak,
  basswood)
• Conifer pulp (pine, spruce, balsam fir, tamarack)
• Paper mills are downsizing and relocating outside
  of the US to take advantage of lower material
  cost and lower labor costs resulting in a soft
  pulp market

• of AB Process Systems' sales. Now it's 30

• much higher sales volume of about 50 million

• When Ace Ethanol built a plant near Stanley,
  the company hired some
• Wisconsin metal fabricators who had never
  worked for the ethanol
• industry. Once the plant started up in 2002,
  the fabricators had enough
• experience to pursue other ethanol projects.
