  • Lead and Floor Traffic Analysis

Prepared By
Foresight Survey Support International

  • Foresight Survey Support International makes it
a priority to be flexible and to accommodate your
data analysis needs. The following outline of
analyses provides a basic understanding of what
types of conference information can be obtained.

3
What methods does Foresight implement to collect
data?
  • Method 1 Foresight offers the Smart Pen as a
lead retrieval solution to exhibitors in each
    booth.
  • Method 2 Foresight utilizes the Attendance
Tracking System to collect attendee information
at exhibit hall exit doors and education sessions.

4
How is the data collected?
  • Method 1 Exhibitors scan attendee badges with
the Smart Pen during exhibit hall hours. Each
scan creates a record which can be linked to a
specific attendee, time, date and booth location.
  • Method 2 Attendee badges are scanned upon
exiting the exhibit hall and education sessions
with a hand-held scanning device. Each scan
creates a record which can be linked to a
specific attendee, time, date and exit door.

5
Overall Facts and Figures
  • Facts and figures that may be listed and
    discussed include
  • The total number of exhibitor booths
  • The percentage of exhibitor booths using the
    Smart Pen

6
Overview of Data Analysis Options
  • Listed below are optional analyses. Each
analysis can include graphical representation of
data, observations and Foresight suggestions for
    future meetings.
  • Exhibit Hall Leads by Row
  • Exhibit Hall Leads by Hour
  • Exhibit Hall Leads by Booth Size
  • Exhibit Hall Exit Traffic and Overall Conference
    Participation

7
Analysis 1 Exhibit Hall Leads by Row
  • This analysis examines
  • Overall lead collection in the Exhibit Hall rows
  • Which rows attracted more or less attendees than
    average
  • Overall facts and figures for this analysis may
    include
  • Total leads collected at the show and with the
    Smart Pen
  • A summary of the number of Smart Pens on the
exhibit floor and the average number of leads
    collected per Smart Pen

Analysis 1 Exhibit Hall Leads by Row
  • Observations for the Exhibit Hall Leads by Row
    analysis may include
  • Above/below average row performance percentages
  • Possible explanations for above/below average row
    performance
  • Overall observations and suggestions concerning
lead collection as it relates to exhibit floor
    layout

11
Analysis 2 Exhibit Hall Leads by Hour
  • This analysis examines
  • Overall traffic trends in the Exhibit Hall by day
and hour according to leads collected
  • Which time slots yielded a greater number of
leads in the Exhibit Hall each day
  • Overall facts and figures for this analysis may
    include
  • The total number of leads collected per day

Analysis 2 Exhibit Hall Leads by Hour
  • Observations for the Exhibit Hall Leads by Hour
    analysis may include
  • Peak times for exhibit hall floor traffic
  • Does the data justify changing exhibit hall hours

15
Analysis 3 Exhibit Hall Leads by Booth Size
  • This analysis examines
  • The effect of booth size on the number of leads
    collected by an exhibitor
  • Overall facts and figures may include
  • Information on the random booth sample used in
    analysis
