- We are your information resource for questions
about - Your Student Account
- Holds and late fees
- Payment Deadlines
- Financial Aid Disbursements
4What is a Student Account?
- The billing and payment of student tuition, fees,
on campus housing and certain other campus
charges. Every student has a student account.
Most financial aid money is directly credited to
your student account. - Each time you register, cancel or add courses a
charge or credit may be posted to your account.
This account reflects your total charges for
tuition, fees and other university charges. You
can view your account transactions by date or by
term through Web4U. - Your student account will NOT include bookstore
charges, parking fees or library fines.
5When and How to Pay Tuition and Fees
- Tuition, housing and fees are due the first day
of class. - Students with current account activity will be
notified monthly by email notification. We do not
mail out billing statements. - To avoid late fees, university charges must be
paid in full and on time. It is important for
students who add courses after the statement date
to check their current balance to determine their
full payment requirement. - Students are responsible to pay their outstanding
balance whether or not a billing notice is
received.
6How Does Billing Work?
- QuikPAYTM electronic billing and payment system
is the official means of generating bills to all
Western Washington University students. - QuikPAYTM E-billing/E-payment Features
- View/print bill and make payments in one easy
- online system.
- Available world wide via the internet.
- Simplifies bill access to the party responsible
for paying - the bill.
- Convenient 24/7 access.
- Easy access to online payment history.
- Private and secure with password-protected
login.
7How Does Billing Work?
- Students are notified via their internal Western
email account between the 20th and 25th of each
month that their e-billing statement is ready for
viewing. - QuikPAYTM allows students to view monthly billing
statements and pay these statements by e-check
from their checking or savings account (no fee)
or by charge card (2.75 convenience fee). - Students may set up Authorized Payers to view and
pay tuition bills on their behalf. This is not
the same as a Financial Release of Information
allowing student specified persons to call and
ask questions regarding account detail.
8WWU Email Policy
- IMPORTANT NOTICE
- University assigned student email accounts shall
be one of the official means of communication of
the University with all students. Students are

for all the information (including attachments)
that was sent to the University account. -
- The University expects that such communications
will be received and read in a timely fashion.
Official email communications are intended only
to meet the academic and administrative needs of
the campus community. -
