Introduction

• We are about to embark on a wonderful journey.
  Through this quest, we are going to travel around
  the world through the four seasons.

The Task At Hand

• Each student is to create a travel brochure.
  The travel brochure should contain a place of
  vacation for someone to visit for each season.
  You are to make sure that each vacation is
  suitable for that time of year. The weather
  should be appropriate for the type of vacation.

Process

• Step 1
• Find four vacation spots, one for each
  season.
• Step 2
• For each vacation, research the important
  information.
• Place
• Weather,
• Attractions
• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Food
• Any other information
• Step 3
• Find a picture that represents each vacation
  spot.
• Step 4
• Create your travel brochure.

Brochure

• Each brochure should contain
• A vacation for each season winter, spring,
  summer, fall
• For each vacation, you should include the place
  of travel, the weather, attractions, hotels,
  food, and any other fun information
• You should also include which season each
  vacation should be taken in
• The brochures should include color and pictures
  of the place of vacation
• The travel brochures should be appealing and eye
  catching!

Images

• To find images of your vacation spots, you can
  go to www.yahoo.com and then click on images.
  next, you will type in the place of travel that
  you want. Various images will come up, and you
  can pick the one of your choice for your
  brochure.

Presentation

• Once you are finished with your brochure and
  satisfied with your work, you will
• Present your brochure to the class
• Tell the class your four vacation spots
• Provide information and attractions about each
  spot of travel

Evaluation

• You will be evaluated based on your brochure.
• If you meet all the requirements of the brochure,
  you will receive a 100.
• If you meet most of the requirements, you will
  receive a 75.
• If you meet half of the requirements, you will
  receive a 50.
• If you fail to meet the requirements, you will
  receive a 0.

Conclusion

• Through this WebQuest, you will have learned
  about four different spots around the world. You
  will have increased knowledge of their weather,
  attractions, food, and many other aspects of
  these vacation spots. Now, when mom or dad asks
  you where you want to go on vacation, you will
  have some ideas in mind based on the season of
  your travel!!
