  • Developed in 1987
  • Cumulative international compilation of data from
    developing countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern
    Europe, Latin America the Caribbean, and
    Oceania
  • HIV prevalence
  • HIV incidence
  • Updated on a yearly basis
  • The most complete HIV seroprevalence database in
    the world
  • Supported by USAID UNAIDS
  • Current size
  • 80,000 data records
  • over 7,000 publications and presentations
