Made up of Many Dens
  • A Den is made up of 6 10 boys of the same
    grade/rank
  • You can be in a den with your friends
  • Dens stay same each year
  • The Den meets once a month
  • Parents serve as Den Leaders
  • Dens work on Achievements to earn Badges
  • Dens are where a lot of Cub Scouting takes place

Citizenship and Community
  • Scouting for Food
  • Food collected in October
  • Food goes to Westchester County Food Bank
  • Last year Pack 33 was the top collecting unit
    with over 1,300 cans of food!
  • Scouts throughout Westchester-Putnam collected
    around 19,000 pounds of food total!

Leaders are the Key
  • Pack 33 and all dens are led by parent volunteers
  • We have around 20 leaders
  • The experience is only as good as the leaders
    make it
  • Minimal time commitment a few hours a month
  • Youre there anyway!
  • Training provided, lots of resources and support
  • Dens need leaders
  • SHARED leadership!

  • Registration fee includes everything except
    uniform, handbooks and optional activities
  • Get T-shirt, neckerchief slider tonight!
  • Stay for our Pack Meeting!
