understanding of instinctive criminal disposition
and making society aware of these issues.
Special Purpose To determine the effects of
gene and social environment on criminal

1. Meeting - 11.12.2006 In brainstorming sessions
five subjects were proposed. Team members voted
and determined which subject is more important
for our team. After deciding the subject of the
project, tasks were distributed among team
members. 2. Meeting - 18.12.2006  We determined
the advance steps of project. Projects steps
were determined as follows Finding the main and
root reasons for the project Establishing the
quality tools Starting to log. Researching
surveys, interviews and seminars, which have been
held before, in order to improve our
project Photographing the steps of the
project Preparing the presentation of the
project  3. Meeting - 08.01.2007  We brainstormed
to find the main and root reasons for crime.  4.
Meeting- 15.01.2007  We completed the fishbone
and matrix diagrams.

5. Meeting - 05.02.2007  We met to evaluate our
findings 6. Meeting- 12.02.2007  We watched the
education cd about web design and decided on the
topics which will be at our web site. Also we
made discussion about our logo.  7. Meeting -
05.03.2007  We determined the age group to which
the survey will be applied. Additionally, we
started to contact the specialists who are able
to give seminar on the subject.  8. Meeting -
19.03.2007  We started to combine collected
information and prepare first steps of the
presentation.  9. Meeting -9.04.2007 We evaluated
the results of the questionnaire and drew the
chart of results. 10. Meeting -12.04.2007 We
completed project web site and published it at
our schools web site. 11. Meeting -
30.04.2007 We started to prepare power point
presentation.

Violence is the sum of individual and collective
behaviours which lead to suffering of living
creatures physically and spiritually by using
force to restrict and control them
Crime is an illegal action of an individual who
violate the law

Is an individual born with instinctive violence
or is crime the result of environment?

• Biological Aspects Of Crime
• A lot of scientists who argue that an individual
  is born with instintive violence researched in
  order to prove this idea. These researches can be
  classified as follows
• Researches on twins
• Researches on chromosomes
• Researches on hormones and eating habits

Psychological Aspect Of Crime Freud explains
the deficiencies in human behaviours as
incentives controlled by societys
expectations. Franz Alexander defines the
criminal as a person whose behaviours are not
coherent with himself since this person has not
been able to learn the reality principle which
in fact has to be learned during the first
development period and he claims that besides
genetic reasons and behaviours formed during
childhood, family and social factors contribute
to emergence of crimes. Freud and Franz Alexander
claim that people tend to commit crimes as a
result of social circumstances.

Set a good example Teach saying no. Do not
normalize a behaviour including violence Do not
allow your children to feel alone and
insecure Behave them sympathetically and spare
the time Listen to their problems with great

they spend their leisure times Cooperate with
their school  Estimate not only in their classes
but also other issues Discover the areas in
which they can be successful Encourage to social
activities

RESULTS
Our team informed our friends about violence and
crime with presentations. Our teachers and
friends learned percentage of their anger through
questionnaire. Our school principal gave a
seminar about youth behaviours to parents. Our
team researched biological and psychological
aspects of crime this year. We will research
sociological aspect of crime and continue this
project next year.
