State Objectives

• HE.4.4.1 - Analyze menus from culturally
  different restaurants for nutritional value.
• HE.4.4.2 - Discuss examples of food
  advertising, identifying the purposes and the
  relationship to personal health.
• HE.4.6.1 - Record his/her own health-promoting
  habits and describe which activities/foods were
  good, health-promoting decisions.
• HE.4.7.2 - Propose family menus that meet
  dietary guidelines.
• HE.4.2.2 - Identify health related products
  advertised on TV (or through other media) and
  explain whom the media is trying to influence.
• HE.4.4.4 - Explain why healthy human bodies can
  be various shapes and sizes.

• Use menus from foreign and local restaurants.
• Visit Computers(Website 3)
• Homework Bring Advertisements

Day 2

• Will discuss advertisements brought in.
• Also talk about TV ads.
• Taste and Identify foods.
• Visit computers for pictures
• (Website 4)

Day 3

• Quiz on Food Pyramid.
• Discuss daily eating habits.
• Explain different shapes and sizes of healthy
  bodies.
• Chart with food intake data.

Day 4

• Final test will be a Web Quest.
• This is main evaluation.
