Why should you help CCS
  • You should be involved because without your
participation or donation nothing will change.
  • You should be involved because it is an
opportunity to give back to your community in
    terms of time or donation.
  • You should be involved because it is every
childs right to have a home with supporting and
    loving parents.
  • You should be involved because every adult with a
disability deserves a chance to be an independent
    contributing citizen of their community.
  • You should be involve because it is a matter of
conscious to help solve the problems of our time,
how would you like the coming generations to
    judge us?

CCS Fundraising Made Easy
  • Invite friends to a CCS dinner
  • Have everyone sign the attendance sheet.
  • Briefly share CCS mission and historical
    background (from fact sheet info)
  • Talk about why you were touched by this issue
(Personalize the Story by talking about something
that happened in your life that makes it an
underpinning for your belief in helping others)
  • ASK me about using any of CCS stories/CASE
    STUDIES
  • Share with them the extent of the problem
  • Show the CCS video
  • Entertain Question Answer session
  • The BIG ASK. Passionately plead for financial
help as well as sharing with them the need for
them to host a similar event with their friends.
If this is too much then they can forward the
info to their friends and do a peer to peer
fundraiser by just asking for a donation
  • Ask for closing thoughts and then get them to
register as friends of CCS with a commitment to
the cause by signing up to donate with Check
preferable written to CCS (Please see address

Easy Tips on Planning and Organizing an event
  • 10 easy steps to organizing a fantastic
    fundraising event
  • Keep it simple.
  • Ask.
  • Ask friends and colleagues to help. It really is
much more fun if you share the load and what's
more, you get the benefit of lots of different
    ideas and experience!
  • Speak to us!

love hearing about your fundraising would love to
help you! Contact CCS Fundraising Team by calling

  • Be organized.
  • Be clear about your plan from the beginning
ensure that the date of your event doesn't
conflict with other events, like the --- NFL
Super bowl or Oscars party for CCS.
  • Draw up a budget.
  • Make sure your budget doesnt over shadow your
goal of raising money for the problem at hand.
  • Seek Permission.
  • Seek permission and check legal requirements.
Make sure you find out whether you require any
    special licenses or permissions. This
particularly applies if you are planning to
organize a bike horn or street collection for
    CCS, Inc.
  • Be safe.
  • As the event organizer you must be careful to
ensure the safety of your guests. Not only are
you required to comply with Health and Safety
legislation but you may also need to consider
First Aid and Fire Safety requirements.
  • Publicize your event.
  • Don't forget to promote the event in your local
area. You could put up posters, hand out flyers
and even get your local papers and radio stations
involved. USE THE CCS Fundraising fact sheet and
    letters to publicize the event
  • Thank everyone involved.
  • After the event, don't forget to thank everyone
involved. Who knows you might need their help at
your next event! We can even provide you with
information leaflets about Breakthrough to send
out with your thank you notes and help fire them
    with enthusiasm!
  • Last but not least, have fun!
