• often used to mean a stable configuration of

  an equilateral polygon and given an equal angular
  velocity about their center of mass
• Not stable as described by Nevin

• Takes the idea of the ring to the next level
• As civilization grows, so does energy consumption
• Sun is a great provider of energy
• Proposes sphere of satellites, idea taken further
  by other scientists

• The most important thing about Dysons hypothesis
  to humans is that it could apply to another
  civilization
• He claims that looking for a design such as this
  around a distant star would be a way of finding
  extraterrestrial intelligence
