TrackVIEW
  • The Vaddio TrackVIEW Camera Control System is a
presenter control system that incorporates camera
tracking and video preset camera control into one
    system .

3
TrackVIEW
4
How does it Track me?
  • Tracking is performed by the use of a reference
camera that provides a baseline image to our
    Video Motion Processor
  • This constant image bitmap monitors any changes
to any of pixels in the bitmap
  • When a pixel bitmap change occurs those changes
are sent to our camera control processor which
then sends out the appropriate move command to
    the camera

5
Why would you use tracking and pre-set camera
control together?
  • The basic system design incorporates camera
tracking into Vaddios pre-set camera control
technology. This allows the presenter to stay on
camera as they walk between pre-set video camera
    shots
  • The net effect is that the presenter gets nice
tight pre-determined camera shots at the main
presentation areas and yet stays on camera when
    they move to another area

6
What Cameras can you use?
  • Each TrackVIEW system comes with a Sony EVI-D70
equipped with a wide angle lens to use as the
    reference camera
  • For the Tracking camera you can use either the
    Sony EVI-D70 /EVI-D100 / BRC-300 and the Canon
    VC-C50i / VC-C50iR

7
Pre-set camera triggers
  • StepVIEW, AutoVIEW IR, and any other type of
contact closure device can be connected to
TrackVIEW. Power for the AutoVIEW IR is now
incorporated into the system and replaces the
need for a Vaddio control expander.
  • ControlVIEW Xtreme/ProductionVIEW camera control
systems can be added to the system. These add
classroom control triggering to devices such as
Microphones and TouchVIEW buttons so that you can
automate student cameras into your system design

8
TrackVIEW Features Motion Tracking or Preset
Tracking or Both
  • The system uses motion-tracking technology with
Vaddios preset camera control technology. This
combination of technologies when on, allows the
presenter to stay on camera as they walk between
    preset camera shots.
  • Motion tracking can be disabled providing for
only triggered preset tracking and preset
tracking can be disabled allowing for only motion
    tracking.

9
TrackVIEW Features First Step, Last Step and
Multi-Step Modes
  • First Step - The first IR sensor or mat to be
triggered will hold the camera preset
  • Last Step - The last IR sensor or mat triggered
    will hold the camera preset
  • Multi-Step - 2 mats or IR zones, or combination,
triggered concurrently triggers a user defined
3rd preset. Up to 10 presets are available for
    combined pre-set configurations

10
TrackVIEW Features Built-in EZCamera Cabling
System
  • The system has built-in EZCable System for
running power and video over a single Cat. 5
cable. You no longer need Quick Connect Boxes to
connect the cameras to the system.
  • These support all Sony and Canon cameras except
when using the BRC-300 as the Tracking camera,
then the external Quick-Connect box and camera
    shoe is required.

11
TrackVIEW Features Tracking Camera Preset
  • The tracking camera pre-set is a user definable
pre-set camera view that is activated when the
system goes into a tracking mode. This pre-set
sets the zoom and the tilt of the tracking
camera,so that when the tracking is enabled the
cameras zoom and tilt will be at a pre-assigned
    position.

12
TrackVIEW Features Additional Features
  • RS 232 Control for AMX/Crestron
  • RS 232 control port for ControlVIEW Xtreme
  • IR Remote Control
  • USB System Setup port

16
TrackVIEW System Set-up and Software
  • The system set-up port is a USB connection
which was used to eliminate the need for the
    installer to find a laptop with a DB-9 RS-232
port. The system software is intuitive and easy
to use to maximize system performance and provide
    for quick set-ups.
