LO Definition

• Learning objects (LOs) consist of digitally
  reusable succinct portions of self-contained
  information.
• These units of information can be combined into
  larger modules of information like building
  blocks to meet an individuals needs in a variety
  of learning contexts.

  education tutorials recommended reuse of LOs
• 256 Fundamentals of Oral Communication students
  w/ 10 response rate
• 133 English Composition students w/ 8 response
  rate
• Trial survey during finals week
• Results will be used to fine-tune the survey for
  Fall 2008
