  self-confidence and a strong work ethic.

  discovering you can live without it!

We use full outfitting

• Scouts show up with personal gear only-Williams
  and Hall will provide all the gear we need.
• Gear lists and Menus will be examined closer to
  the trip. Each group needs a leader to organize
  materials and stay in communication with me about
  team/trip issues.

Warning! This is true wilderness

• Dangers exist and campers are at risk for a
  number of injuries. You must be alert and listen
  to your leader and your common sense.
• Our Rules are for your safety and ours-your
  injury will ruin your trip and that of your trip
  mates.
• Read the paperwork!

Groups of 9 Max!

• Each group needs 2 adult (over21) leaders. If
  the group is mixed gender the leaders need to
  also be mixed.
• 9 max. 4 canoe limit per permit. Permits all have
  different entry points/times.
• Two-man or 3-man canoes (garbage or duffer in 3
  man)
• Menu is for all 9 not 9 different menus.
• H20- you will need pills or purifier. NO cans or
  bottles allowed in the BWCAW.

When do we go?

• The Charter Bus will pull out of WHS parking lot
  _at_ 6 AM or so on July 31st.
• We arrive in Ely area-Williams and Hall on Moose
  Lake by 6pm and have dinner (included) and get
  geared up.
• We paddle out on Aug. 1st.
• We pull out at Moose on Aug. 7th by 11am. Shower.
  Go to town briefly-Ely for ts and pop. Head on
  home. Midnight or so arrival at WHS parking lot.

How much for this experience?

• We are working on that. Outfitting will be
  298.00 per person if our s are high enough.
  Wilderness fee 25.00 Fishing permit is 25 for out
  of staters-lt16 free with adult permit.
• Problem is bus costs.5600.00 was our first
  quotestill waiting for more quoteslower ones!
• Deposits are due December 21st at the latest. The
  big drawing for permits is Jan 2nd and the
  outfitter needs , commitment, data from up in
  time to draw up plans.
• I am sorry to state that deposits go to Minn. and
  are NOT refundable.

  Thunder, Caves etc.
• Star gazing _at_ Bettendorf
• Eco Challenge for hard core kids
• COPE High ropes training
