On School Nights Kids Should
  • Do their daily reading and homework.
  • Eat a healthy dinner.
  • Tell grown-ups about 2 or more things he/she
    learned.
  • Go to bed in time to get at least 9 to 10 hours
    of sleep.

On school mornings
  • Get up early enough to not be rushed.
  • Make sure your daily folder is in your backpack.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast.
  • Turn your brain on high!

  • Your daily folder
  • Water bottle (tightly closed)
  • Jacket or sweater
  • Homework
  • Notes going to and from school

Daily Folders
  • Must be returned to school every day.
  • Check for reading work every day!
  • Homework schoolwide communication will come
    home Friday.
  • Small books should be read and returned if it is
    not a paper take home book.

HOMEWORK
  • Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes, 4-5
    nights per week.
  • Check the newsletter and daily folder for
    additional assignments.
  • Homework is usually due on or before Friday of
    the following week.
  • Please contact me if you have any questions.

Homework Tips
  • Set aside homework time daily.
  • Work in a quiet place without distractions (if
    possible).
  • TURN OFF THE TELEVISION!
  • Keep homework in your backpack or in another safe
    place.
  • Parents should assist but not do the work.

    are the best teachers of language skills.
