from his hotel that setting out a plaza in front
of it was not enough he also widened Broadway,
from the plaza to the waterfront, by twenty feet,
thereby giving hotel guests a better view of the
harbor.

Childrens Park and Pond will be a treat. Grassy
hills and knolls are perfect for rolling down,
while the beautiful blue pond surrounds squirting
bamboo stalks sure to refresh any playful

whimsical work of art by Niki de St. Phalle. Her
statue titled Coming Together stands 38-feet high
in front of the San Diego Convention Center. A
ceramic and mirror mosaic, Coming Together
portrays a human face divided in half with one
side mirrored and the other side multi-colored.
