• Comment
• These A Level results are the best in the
  history of the school, maintaining the
  exceptional high standards achieved at Little
  Heath School. The Little Heath results were 11
  above the national average at grades A - B and
  12 above the national average at grades A- C.
  Students taking A Levels and AVCEs have gained
  an average of 315 UCAS points, well above local
  and national averages. The average points score
  per entry was 91.9.
• 3 of our students, Stephen Cairns, Sarah Burnham
  and Jennifer Cross gained 4 Grade As. Stephen has
  also gained Distinctions in AEA Maths and Physics
  and 2 grade 1s in his STEP examinations. 5
  students gained 3As - Richard King, Eve Mullen,
  Katie Prosser, Laura Beswick and Eve Mullen. 22
  other students gained 3 or more A Levels all at
  grades A or B. Many pupils of more modest
  abilities achieved either 3 or 4 A Level passes.
  The overall pass rate at A-E was 100, 4 above
  the national average.

Summary

• These results maintain the high standards
  achieved in recent years. They have done so as
  the Sixth Form has expanded, a tremendous feat by
  all concerned. There were 129 Candidates in 2006
  and in 2005 compared to 94 in 2004.
• We can celebrate some outstanding results
  achieved by individual students, 8 of whom gained
  3 or more grade As at GCE A / AVCE Level.
• The of A grades achieved is 24 , in line with
  the national average of 24
• The A - B percentage pass rate is 11 above the
  national figure.
• The A - C percentage pass rate is 12 above the
  national figure.
• The A - E percentage pass rate of 100 is 3.8
  above the national figure.
• The average total UCAS points score for all
  pupils entered for any A Levels / AS Levels /
  AVCEs is 315 points (provisional).
