    SHOW PROOF OF A TITLE FOR LAND HE HAD A CONTRACT
    ON.

    WRONG IN WHAT HE WAS DOING, FORCING THE NON-TITLE
    HOLDERS TO PURCHASE A TITLE FROM HIM.

    OCCURRED.

  • 4. LAND FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS
  • THE PRESENTORS WERE WILLIAM H. WHARTON AND RAFAEL
    MANCHOLA. OFFICIALS IN SAN ANTONIO DID NOT
    ACCEPT THE RESOLUTIONS.

  • AUSTIN WAS ARRESTED IN JANUARY OF 1834 AFTER
    MEETING WITH SANTA ANNA
  • HE WAS ARRESTED IN SALTILLO BECAUSE OFFICIALS
    THOUGHT HE WAS CHALLENGING MEXICAN AUTHORITY
  • HE WAS PUT IN PRISON FOR 1 YEAR WITHOUT A TRIAL
  • HE WAS RELEASED ON DECEMBER 25,1834 BUT WAS NOT
    PERMITTED TO RETURN TO TEXAS UNTIL JULY 1835.
