2nd Annual 5 K Walk To End Domestic
Violence Woodbridge Township Domestic Violence
Response Team Sunday October 5, 2008 830 a.m.

Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park, Sewaren, New
Jersey
Registration/check-in and breakfast begin at
830 a.m. Walk will start at 1000 a.m.
All proceeds go to victim services and community
education.
Last years proceeds allowed 12 families touched
by domestic violence to enjoy a happier holiday
season helped a mom and her infant son, fearing
for their lives, to flee an abuser and helped a
family move away from their abuser. These are a
few examples how the DVRT helps victims in our
community. We were also able to train the largest
class of volunteers yet, as well as update and
enhance our informational handouts. All thanks to
your generosity.
1,092 domestic violence incidents were reported
in Woodbridge Township in 2006.
Registration must be received by Sept. 19, 2008
to guarantee a T-shirt in your size. You can
