  • Move straight downfield, parallel with sideline
  • Square off, mark progress with downfield foot
  • Come in on close plays 4th down, goal line

  • Indicate spot on appropriate 5-yd line for L
  • Linesman
  • Anticipate measurement, be on sideline
  • Go to 5-yd line away from ball
