Summary

• This lesson talks about what a friend is. We all
  need friends at every stage of our lives. A
  friend is many things, it can share our joys when
  we are happy and wipe our tears when we are
  disappointed. There goes a saying Birds of a
  feather flock together..

• A good friend can lead you to a bright side and
  you can learn a lot of things from him/her. In
  the latter part of the lesson, the author shares
  two poems about friends with us. They explain how
  important friends are and also tell us to make
  new friends but keep the old. Because the new are
  silver, and the old are gold

Ariel's Reflection

• Friends play an important role to teenagers.
  Friends are people who can cheer you up when you
  are in a bad mood. For example, I have two
  friends and they are twins. We grew up together
  for about ten years and we are just like sisters.

• Now, although we are not in the same senior high
  school, we are still best friends. They always
  stand by my side when I get into some troubles.
  And I know I will love them forever.
