Title: Some Issues on Reconstruction of Jupiter Data with MarlinReco

1
Some Issues on Reconstruction of Jupiter Data
with MarlinReco
  • S. Uozumi
  • Jan-30 ACFA-sim-J meeting

2
Steps
?
?
LDC Full Tracking, PandoraPFA, LCFIVertex
  • Confirm PandoraPFA performance using Z-pole data
    generated by Mokka (LDC00Sc).
  • Convert Jupiter data using J42LCIO and try to
    reconstruct events with Marlin framework.
  • Use single muon and Z-pole events for test.
  • Reconstruct track with MarlinReco (TPCSilicon
    tracking)
  • Perform jet energy measurement with PandoraPFA
  • b, c-tagging using LCFIVertex
  • Actual analysis of ZH -gt jets data.

3
PandoraPFA v2 performancewith Mokka z-pole data
  • Still much worse than Marks result
  • (he has shown 25 at Zeuchen).
  • I have no idea for the reason.
  • Will ask him about right settings.

4
Measured PT distributions
  • Single muon data (cosq0, f02p, z0 1 cm)
    generated by Jupiter
  • and converted to lcio.

pT(true) 1 GeV/c
2 GeV/c
5 GeV/c
10 GeV/c
20 GeV/c
100 GeV/c
PT (GeV)
500 GeV/c
200 GeV/c
5
Measured pT are shifted from true values ?
  • 0.1 GeV shift is observed.
  • Gear parameters setting may not be perfectly
    correct yet?

6
Momentum resolution
GLD DOD
  • pT resolution looks consistent with DOD plot
  • (except pT500 GeV).

7
Ongoing jobs / Plans
  • Pandora performance ask Mark !
  • Summarize input parameters (GEAR etc)
  • to discuss about right values.
  • Effort to establish the analysis path with
    PandoraPFA JetFinder LCFIVertex is ongoing.
  • Does anybody know an easy way to generate
  • single b/c jet events?
  • (hopefully in stdhep format !)
