2. Use Shiftw to have the workplane facing you.
3. Use the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle /
square beginning from the origin point. Hold the
left mouse button down and drag the rectangle
over to the desired size. Size of the rectangle
will be 75mm x 75mm

4. Now save your work! 5. Now switch views to a
TRIMETRIC VIEW, use shift T
6. Now we will extrude the profile using the
following icon
7. Click on the profile then in the Distance
box add 40
Then click ok!

8. Now we will round the top edges. -Switch the
view using Shift w -Move the mouse over the
top face of the rectangle, then while pressing
shift click on each line of the face
Select edges tool needs to be highlighted
The lines on the face should turn from blue to
red.
9. With the sides highlighted, making sure they
are still red go to FEATURES in the top menu
then ROUND EDGES -enter a radius of 5mm
10. Save your work here as Rectangle Electronics

Use the select faces icon and then select the top
face of the rectangle so that it then turns red
Right click on the red face and select NEW
SKETCH you will be faced with this menu
In the Name box type Features In the
Workplane box type Top
Click on the select lines icon and then SHIFT
W
You have now created a new workplane. This will
mean that any drawing that you create will
extrude from the top of the object, not from the
bottom plane. With this in place you can now add
your name using the various sketch features.

Creates a curved edge from a straight line
Circle or Oval tool
Delete lines
Experiment with the tools above to create
patterns on the top of the box -Draw a straight
line -Use the Arc or Fillet icon and click on the
end of the straight line, and drag it with the
left mouse button. -Then draw a straight line at
the end of the point on the arc.

Now draw and extrude these profiles to fit your
badge size 50mm x 50mm
