• 2. God looks at the heart!

• 1 Samuel 166-7 6 When they arrived, Samuel saw
  Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD's anointed
  stands here before the LORD."  7 But the LORD
  said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance
  or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD
  does not look at the things man looks at. Man
  looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD
  looks at the heart."

• Holiness, righteousness, wisdom, purity, justice,
  integrity, mercy and kindness.

• 3. The heart sets the course for our actions!

• Matthew 1518-20 18But the things that come out
  of the mouth come from the heart, and these make
  a man 'unclean.' 19For out of the heart come
  evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual
  immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
  20These are what make a man 'unclean' but eating
  with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.'

• 4. Monitor the condition of the heart!

godly desires, hopes and dreams.
