Use of PANA to bootstrap MN

• PANA is a protocol that carries EAP messages over
  UDP.
• PANA authentication messages are protected by the
  PANA SA for integrity and replay protection.
• We use PANA to deliver Mobile IPv6 bootstrapping
  information.

• Mobile IPv6 bootstrapping is performed during
  PANA network authentication.
• Piggybacks the bootstrapping information to the
  existing PANA-Auth-Answer PANA-Bind-Request
  messages
• HA assignment in the visited network not only in
  the home network
