• The mission of the Southeast Michigan Incident
  Management Team is to provide coordination
  support under the Incident Command System to
  supplement local government agencies during event
  and emergency response operations.

Components

• Use of term Team Leader based upon need to
  interface with incident and not to be confused
  with Incident Commander of scene unless
  assigned
• Team members assigned based on multi-discipline
  background (PD/FD/Health)
• Equal personnel from each county placed into each
  team to lessen single county impact
• Personnel placement based upon individual choices
  previously made to Executive Board
• Coordination element inserted for non-deployment
  (daily) business operations
• Teams placed on monthly rotation schedule with
  other teams placed as backup/backfill

• Central dispatch location/process to be
  determined
• Response geared for initial assessment of duty TL
  in addition to Executive Officer / Deputy to
  determine response level
• Responding personnel post assessment can be
  geared for individual assignment up to all IMT
  personnel based on operational need
