3How i got the idea.
One day me and my friends were talking and I said
I wonder if salt effects the freezing time of
water. So I did the experiment to show you if it
does.
4Experiment
I took five jars and put 1/2 cup water in them.
Then I put 1 spoon of salt in the first jar 2 in
the next 3 in the next one 4 in the fourth one
and 5 in the fifth one. Then I froze them and for
the results look at the results slide.
5Variables
Independent Variable ------ Amount of
NaCl Dependent Variable -------- Order of
freezing Constants ------ Amount of water,
containers, same freezer.
6Results
Well I found out that the jar with 1 spoon of
salt froze first then the 2nd and so because the
more slat the lower temperature it needs to be to
freeze.

8Discussion and Data Analysis
I knew the whole time that the less salt would
freeze first. Because salt effects the freezing
time of water. So I thought if there was more
salt it would take more time to freeze. The
experiment went well and I wouldnt change
anything about it.
9Conclusion
The experiment is done and I was right the whole
time. Less salt less freezing time. Now I know
that salt effects the freezing time of water
