  3rd year!
• May be useful for students who intend to follow
  CSA3200 (Adaptive Hypertext Systems) in 4th year

How?

• Instead of merely sending the selected keyword(s)
  to a search engine, FollowMyLink selects
  additional terms that are likely to be relevant
  to the selected term

Why?

• Instead of taking the user to a search engines
  results page, we take the user to the top ranked
  page the search engine returns
• We will also provide a way for users to look at
  the results to select another page

How?

• Maintain two models
• Session User Model
• Page Model
• Page Model will look for potentially interesting/
  relevant terms around the selected term and on
  the same page
• Session UM will record terms that occur
  frequently throughout the session

• Mozilla Firefox
• Xul (XML User Interface Language) and JavaScript
• A tutorial on Xul will be provided
• Google API
• Your plug-in will be portable!
