  location of requested files
• choose CE local to SE which contains file(s)
• WP2 - Replica Manager GDMPv2.0
• copies files between sites
• v2.0 - GSI, GridFTP

• to publish information about SEs and files
• WP4 - make SE available by NFS (optional)

So what is an SE in Testbed1?

• A disk server
• running GDMP v2.0
• running information providers
• running data servers (RFIO, GridFTP)
• optionally NFS mount user data on local CE
• optionally stage replicated data to MSS

• The WPs did talk to each other! But....
• We didnt fully understand each others
