More Life Events

• On Oct.2, 1860 Gandhi was born I a three story
  house in Porbandar.
• At the age of 13 was married too a beautiful
  girl, Kasturbia. They didnt get along because
  she liked t play he just wanted to stay inside
  and work. They were persuaded to have a child by
  his mother.
• At the age of 19 Gandhi left to London for his
  studies leaving his wife and kid behind with his
  family.
• When he reached London he had to face some
  problems like clothes, houses, custom and ect.
• On May 1894 he found the Natal Indian Congress.

Life Events

• On July 1907 The Transvaal Asiatic Registration
  Act becomes a law and Gandhi launches a
  Satyagraha campaign
• On Jan.9, 1915 Gandhi returned to India.
• In 1922 he was imprisoned for two years.
• His family and most of India were forced to eat
  meat even though they didnt like to eat meat at
  all.
• On Aug. 15, 1947 India was independent from
  England.
• On Jan. 30, 1948 Gandhi was assassinated by
  Nathuram Godse.

Event 1

• On May 1894, Gandhi found the Natal Indian
  Congress. He used the Congress as a way to
  organize the Indian community. He used the
  newspaper to call attention to the Indian
  movement, defend against accusations, and also to
  keep informed of the current situations. He also
  defended the tax problems with this congress.
  This was one of his ways of getting the
  independences for India.

Event 2

• On 1920 Gandhi reorganized a Congress Party
  and named a Satyagraha campaign. He thought of
  this when he was in South Africa for 20 years.
  They had to swear a vow to endurance treats,
  beatings, and even imprisonment.

Event 3

• Gandhi assassinated on Jan. 30, 1948, by
  Nathuram Godse. He got shot three times in the
  heart and stomach. Has he fell the only words
  that came out of his mouth was Hai Rama which
  meant Oh God. These were his last words. After
  he died most of India was depressed.

Summary

• Gandhi was a great role of leadership. He
  didnt believe in violence, he thought that
  violence would just create more problems. He
  believed that there is more power in words. He
  showed other the right way to live life. He
  showed them the way to see a bright and free
  country. Gandhi was a person who fought for other
  not just for himself. He had many enemies, but he
  didnt care what others said. He only did what he
  thought was fight . He stood up when he was
  needed. He never stood up for things he didnt
  believe in. Gandhi was a person who thought twice
  before doing anything he did.
