Conference

• Conference went excellently. Ian co-
• hosted the conference with Steven
• Smith from Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.
• Lee and Jonothan helped with giving
• out the badges, filling out forms and
• with group work.
• A few people didnt show up on the day,
• but the facilitators that were there were
• brilliant. A big thank-you to everyone.
• Feedback from people who attended
• was brilliant, a lot of people said they
• felt involved and that the venue was
• excellent, a lot better than the
• Accrington Town Hall.

Conference

• The next conference will be on the 30th
• November at Turf Moor and will be
• about Community Ops, i.e employment,
• leisure etc.
• We gave out voting papers for people
• who would interest in having a People
• First Group. Response was YES.
• Thanks to all who took part.

Preferred Provider Meeting

• Went very well. We decided on
• a list of questions to use to
• monitor.
• We talked about what picture to
• use to help those who cant
• read and we are meeting again
• on the 1st August.

Transition Meeting

• Lee and Michele attended a
• Transition Meeting on the 15th
• June. Workers (people like
• Charlotte Hammonds) shared
• ideas. The next Transition
• Meeting is in Liverpool,
• information will be sent through.

SUN Group

• Poor turn out for the User Network in
• June,only one of the original group and
• the two new members.
• Peter Pike came to talk to us, it was
• very interesting. We have now
• booked dates for the rest of the
• year.
• Tony Rushton has now replaced
• Chris Burgess as Springbank Rep.
• We have now put our meetings in
• line with Partnership Board. The
• meeting on the 1st August is
• communication. Julie Hotham is coming
• to talk to the group, we are looking for
• guest speakers for the other dates

Any Other Business

• Michele wishes to propose Ian
• Greenwood as co-chair of the
• Partnership Board for a period
• 12months and this has been
• seconded by Jonothan Boaden.

• Congratulations to Ian and
• Emma Greenwood, who
• got married at St Matthews
• Church, Burnley on the 4th June
• 2006. Best wishes to the happy
• couple.
