Platypus

• The platypus is a semi-aquatic animal, which
  lives in eastern Australia. It lays eggs. It can
  go out of the water. The platypus is the emblem
  of New South Wales.

• The platypus is a strange animal, it looks like a
  duck and a beaver. Its weight varies from 0.7 to
  2.4 kg, and it is about 50 cm long. The
  platypuss average body temperature is 32C

Corals

• Corals are sea-organisms and they live in
  colonies. They have different sorts of forms and
  colors to. They absorb lots of nutrients and tiny
  animals in the water like plankton and salt.

• In Australia there is an enormous wall of corals
  Its name is the Great Barrier Reef. Most corals
  are 60 metres deep.

Crocodiles

• TheAustralian crocodiles are large aquatic
  reptiles. The crocodiles are 1 to 1.5 metres
  long. They have a very hard skin and a long
  tail. They can go out of the water for a short
  time because their skin needs to be always wet.

• They are predators which eat lots of different
  things. They have an enormous jaw. They are
  believed to be 200 millions years, they are older
  than dinosaurs.
