  Clarence and the choir?
• That Clarence is sarcastic and condescending
• That she is a threat to her position as choir
  conductor
• That the choir is trying to oust her through
  mutiny
• That everyone thinks she is too old to conduct
• How does the team treat Clarence?
• Clarence appears to be withdrawn at first, but
  the team makes her comfortable
• Members think she has the experience to lead
  they listen, persuade and cooperate
• What does Clarence do when she takes command?
• She exudes confidence and knowledge on how to
  proceed
• Evaluates each members strengths and fine-tunes
  everyones role
• Friendly critiques praises and instills the
  right attitude
• Asks everyone to listen to each other
• She gets everyone to practice daily
• Recognizes the current conductor s ability and
  asks her practice with them (thereby she
  eliminates the perceived threat and delegates the
  work)

• Listen empathetically even though you may not
  agree
• Assign and Clarify Roles for each member try to
  assign roles based everyones expertise
• Direct and help each other. Not everyone can
  contribute equally well in each case depending on
  the subject covered
• Relieve tension, energize motivate each other
• Move the team project along in a timely fashion

• Dont be a Blocker, Attacker, Recognition-seeker,
  Joker, Withdrawer
