• For I hate divorceand him who covers his
  garment with wrongSo take heed to your spirit,
  that you do not deal treacherously. Malachi

• And He also said,
• What therefore God has joined together, let no
  man separate. Matthew 196

These words

• Are commonly heard at weddings and sermons on
  marriage- and well they should be.
• But they should also be heeded by all of mankind
  at all times! Heb.134
• But were not going to talk about marriage
  today. Instead, lets consider Gods joining.

What God hath joined

• Things that God joins, man should not separate.
  God joined the door to the ark and man couldnt
  open it, cf. Gen.716 gt 17-23.
• There is a principle involved here that needs to
  be understood when God joins anything together,
  man cannot separate them- and should not try to
  do so!

For instance

• Man, in his wisdom has been trying for years to
  divorce, or separate, from Baptism some things
  that God has joined to it!
• Weve been told that Baptism is important, but
  not essential.
• Or that, Faith saves, not baptism.
• Or that, Grace saves, not works salvation by
  baptism.
• Really? Lets see what God says!

• No man can divorce baptism from that to which God
  has joined it!
• Are you joined to God, Christ, the Holy Spirit,
  and Salvation by Baptism?
