Overview

• Cravings is a bakery and catering establishment,
  and is located at 115-1100 Concordia EKld
• Small family owned and operated business
• Regular customers, lots of word of mouth
  advertising

My Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, and batters for muffins and some
  cakes
• Help prepare breads of various types
• Make mincemeat and butter tarts
• Make cookies

Special Events

• Helped with a couple of catering jobs
• Completely on my own one day, and really over
  baked a couple pans of buns, and over proofed a
  couple Pullman loaves
• Made lemon poppy seed, and chocolate cakes and
  cupcakes

Professional and Personal Gains

• Got to know some people in the industry
• Learned a couple of new techniques not only with
  bread, but with piping as well
• Had a lot of fun, so it did not put me off of
  working in a bakery setting

Points of Interest

• Cravings makes Cherry crimp loaves (one of my
  favorites)
• They make a really good cinnamon bun glaze
• Their cakes and other pastries so good that if I
  needed a cake for a party I would order from
  there
• Always have a lunch special

Conclusion

• Everyone there is very friendly
• Never had a problem there, even when I made a
  mistake
• I would recommend Cravings as a co-op placement
  to any future students
