  social situations.
• Hallo! and Grüss dich! Are mostly used with
  friends and family.
• 3 ways to say good-bye Auf Wiedersehen!,
  Wiedersehen!, and Tschüs!
• Auf Wiedersehen is the more formal way to say
  good-bye.

• The three following terms can all be used as THE

Useful words Und and Also, einfach! Thats

course Prima Great!
In English, the word the signals a noun in the
same way DER, DIE, and DAS are used in German.
Every time you learn a new noun, you need to know
its definite article as well!

• Sein is one of the most commonly used German
  verbs.
• Ich bin

Use these verbs in a sentence Ich bin dreizehn.
(I am 13.) Du bist auch dreizehn.
(You are 13.) Er ist sechzehn. (He is 16.) Sie
sind sechzehn. (They are 16.)
