    while either in the same job or in job changes.

  • Goals
  • Work Experience
  • Educational Experience
  • Miscellaneous

  • Three-ring binder preferred
  • Title page if not on cover
  • Index
  • Dividers for each section

I. RESUMÉ
  • Include an overview of your professional and
    technical experiences.
  • No special format is required.
  • A format can be obtained from UW-Stouts Career
    Planning Placement Office. Contact them at

  • This section should contain your professional
    goals
  • Clearly state your current position
  • Identify where you intend to be in the future as
    a result of earning a degree

  • Match with your resume

  • Provide detailed information about work
    experience from each position held.

  • Place of Employment
  • Position Description
  • List of Skills or Competencies Required to
    Perform the Job

  • Evidence of Training Associated with this
    Particular Job, such as
  • Certificates
  • CEU Sheets
  • Workshop or Seminar Completion Certificates
  • Training activities should be described including
    competencies achieved.

  • Authentic Artifacts that Reflect Competence, such
    as
  • Letters of Validation
  • Items Developed
  • Letter of Verification of these Materials from
    your Supervisor on Company Letterhead

    identify a progressive growth of competencies OR
    demonstration of different skills and competence

  • The same competencies cannot be evaluated for
    credit in more than one work experience!
