Rachel Carson was born on May 27,1907. She was
born on a farm in Springdale, Pennsylvania.

CHILDHOOD
Rachel Carson lived on a farm. She loved
living on a farm. She had many friends on the
farm and she could study animals and roam free.
She was home schooled. Then in most of her free
time she would study the animals.

Education
First Rachel went to Pennsylvania College
for Women. A fine women's college, it was exactly
what she wanted. She got many degrees. After she
got home schooled that was what she needed. She
had studied her brains out.

Accomplishments
Rachel Carson graduated from PCW. Rachel also
wrote Silent Spring. Silent Spring which won a
place on the new York times best seller list.
She wrote anther book that won a academe award.

Why is this person famous
Rachel Carson was a friend to the Earth
because she made lots of speeches about how to
protect the Earth. She also wrote SILENT SPRING .

Rachel Carsons hobbies and interests are to
study and be with animals.

DEATH
Rachel Carson died on April 14,1964. I
think it was a sad death she died of a heart
attack.
