John B. Watson (1878-1958)
  • His early career was devoted to the study of
    animal psychology.
  • Watson was the first major psychologist to adopt
    Lockes belief that human behavior can be
    understood principally in terms of experience and
    learning.
  • First to use the term behaviorism.
