• 1. Meet at 9 AM
• - Entrance is on Harms Rd., between Old Orchard
  Rd. and Glenview Rd.
• - The sign actually says Glenview Woods but
  dont believe it! Its actually Harms Woods.
• 2. Dress for the Weather
• - Sunny, breezy high of 63
• - Wear old, cotton-based clothes
• - They will get muddy and possibly holey (from
  airborne embers)
• - Dress in layers
• - Wear long pants, closed-toed, sturdy shoes,
  long sleeves

• 3. Bring Stuff
• - Water and snack are a good idea
• - Digital Camera if you want to take some pics

• 4. Be Careful
• - Tools are sharp
• - Cut so the tree/branch will fall AWAY from you
• - Alert others when something is going to fall
  (yes, you can actually yell, TIMBER!)
• - Use caution around the fire it is actually
  really hot, kinda like a fire!
• - Know what Poison Ivy looks like
• - Leaves of 3, let it be!
• - Leaves can still bother
• you in fall!
• - Even stems!

• 5. Helpful Hints
• - Listen to the Balabans and other volunteers
  they know what they are doing
• - Stack branches in the same direction (all
  leaves facing one way, trunks facing one way,
  etc.)
• - This makes it much easier to pick them up and
  move them toward the fire
• - Bring an open mind and be willing to help!
• - You should have a great time!
