building, data collection and sharing, strengtheni
ng scientific foundations of decision making.

To preserve the Black Sea ecosystem as a valuable
natural endowment of the region, while ensuring
the sustainable use of its marine and coastal

well-being, health and security of the population
of the Black Sea coastal States.
