15Intermodality
Promotion of intermodality is one of important
trend of European transport policy. European
intermodal network will be a platform that brings
together main actors in the transport and
logistics field. New framework of co-operation
among different transport actors (on regional and
national level) to improve knowledge, management
and information system for intermodal transport ,
as well as to prepare and to support an effective
intermodal transport solutions
EUROPEAN CORRIDORS
16Reasons to develop TLT
- Actual transport organization is on higher level
- In future we must to expect EU regulations on
establishing Green Corridors (decrease
pollution, change transport on renewable energy
sources) - New EU regulations will be rigorous (Eur-2
engines will be replaced with Eur-5 engines,
trucks will be much expensive transport cost
will enlarge) - - Truck transport will be much expensive
TRANSPORT LOGISTIC
17Main Project Idea - TLT in Free Zone Pirot
- Development of the new programs and expanding
of existing services to satisfy need of the
existing and new Zone users - Offer all service
on transport corridore - All transport modalites
on one place - Use EU fonds support - To
offer most favorable price to users
TRANSPORT LOGISTIC
18Problems solutions
- Development of the TLT will
- decrease pollution in transport consumption
- (Change diesel fuel (fossil) needed for
truck engines with electricity renewable energy
needed for train engines) - decrease delivering time
- (Truck driver can drive 8 hours per day. From
Turkey to Pirot hi will drive, in FZ hi will put
truck on Ro-La train, with train will trip to
Europe and will sleep during trip, tomorrow after
unloading from Ro-La hi will continue to final
good delivering point Delivery time will be
shorter for 48h) - decrease expenses
- (Train transport now is on similar prices,
but only 4 of goods going with train, in
principal train transport must be cheaper) -
TRANSPORT LOGISTIC
19Problems solutions
- We must to have strong institutional support to
develop very expensive project in transport and
logistic - We must to have partners which will support us
in our attends to develop terminal - - We must to have accurate transport prediction
to calculate capacity and costs of establishing
