residence of Albertas first Premier, Alexander
Cameron Rutherford, is reputed to be haunted by
the spirit of his wife, Mattie Rutherford and an

3The original first home of Premier Alexander C.
Rutherford and his family, now open to visitors
(both earthly and unearthly) in Fort Edmonton Park
4Original Firkin House now located in Fort
Edmonton Park is reputedly the abode of a
disembodied young man who sings lullabies.
5Does an unseen singer of lullabies sit on the
chair in this childs room in the Firkin House?
6Note in the Guest Book of the La Boheme Hotel
7Does a murdered womans ghost lurk behind the
screen or closet in this suite at the La Boheme
hotel?
8The sleazy old Strathcona Hotel has some gruesome
murders tucked into its history
9The Princess Theatre in the old Strathcona
District is widely reputed to be haunted. Movies
are still screened on the main floor and basement
of the building, but the upper floors of the
building are vacant except for a few
disembodied performers. In this un-retouched
shot it would appear as though someone looking
out of the second floor window!
10Trans-Alta Arts Barn corridor is where an
employee watched in horror as a woman
materialized out of the wall on the right, and
disappeared through a locked door on the left.
11The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald has an equine ghost
who can sometimes be heard neighing in the
basement
12Nadine Bailey, (Edmonton Ghost Tours) enjoys a
cup of tea at the lovely Arbour Restaurant in
Rutherford House.
13A cheerful room in the comfortable Heritage wing
of the un-haunted Union Bank Inn.
14An unseen audience and unseen actors in the
haunted Waterdale Playhouse in the Old Strathcona
District bring this show to an end.
