designated GHC part-time faculty. -

- 4. Presently Attending Student Survey (PASS)
Given in class, to all students enrolled at GHC
in the fall and spring semesters respectively.
Usually, in a single semester, a student might
get this more than once. However, we have now
devised a means whereby we are able to redo how
this has been done in the past, and built a
database to select a student only once. -

6- Some Issues of Concern in Survey Research
- Clean Data, Environment, Consistency, Valid,
Reliable, Trusted, etc -
- Future of Institutionally Mandated Surveys at
GHC -
- We intend to migrate to new survey software
(Class Climate, by Scantron Corp.) in the fall of
2009. A pilot run of selected courses will be
administered survey sheets produced with this new
software in the spring of 2009 as a test
comparison with the current survey development
software packages (Bubble Publishing, Form Shop,
Top Score by Scanning Dynamics).
7- AS WE CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THIS PROCESS WE WANT TO
ENSURE THAT WE ARE - COLLECTING THE RIGHT DATA,
- USING CLEAN DATA,
- CONSISTENT IN OUR PROCESSES PRESERVING DATA
INTEGRITY, - USING VALID PROCESSES ACCURATE DATA , AND
- USING RELIABLE PROCESSES DATA TRANSFORMATION
- ETC.
- FOR THIS VERY IMPORTANT PROCESS,
- PLEASE ASSIST US IN CONTINUING TO MAKE THIS
PROCESS AN EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE, AND SUCCESSFUL
ONE.
