Purpose

• Today we see that the president serves many roles
  as the executive of the United States.

What it takes to be prez

• Has to be a natural born citizen
• Be at least 35
• Have lived in the country a combined 14 years

The Term

• Debate over 4 or or a single six year term
• No president may serve more than 10 years in
  office
• 22nd amendment allows for the guy only to be
  elected to two terms. Some argue that this is
  undemocratic.

Pay and Benefits

• 400,000 a year 50,000 expense allowance
• Thats all he gets but does get the white house,
  air force one, camp david, free medical and
  dental
• The Prez. Does pay taxes.

• Chief of state
• Chief administrator
• Chief diplomat
• Commander in Chief
• Chief executive
• Chief legislator
• Chief of party
• Chief citizen
