An Educational Program that takes into
consideration that our students may come from
different backgrounds and have different life
experiences and needs. It must also
promote acceptance and tolerance of individual
differences amongst all people. Diversity
may include differences in, but are not
limited to
- Cognitive Abilities
- Learning Styles
- Culture
- Language
- Religion
- Sexual Orientation
- Social Economic Status
- Gender
- Race
- Age
- Physical Limitations
4Bilingual Education
- Will become increasingly important as our
population continues to grow due to immigration. - Supplemental classes to teach English to
non-English speaking students will help alleviate
some of the challenges presented to teachers in
the classroom.

Assign team seating of mixed groups Avoid displaying preference of students Address negative comments immediately Integrate achievements and accomplishments of minorities if none are mentioned in the textbook. Attend sensitivity awareness workshops if you dont normally associate with mixed groups. Associate with mixed groups. Keep current on matters concerning race differences.
